On Sunday morning 12 July 2009, our SIMPA youth squad - aptly named the Pent Teens - made their first public appearance at the Ulu Pandan Community Club. It was also their first time donning fencing suits (courtesy of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Fencing Club) and sparring with each other. Apart from having loads of fun and showing off what they have learned in the past month, the Pent Teens also had a chance to pit against each other in swimming 200m at Buona Vista Swimming Pool and running 3km at the former RJC campus.
